Welcome to Perú Fest USA 2012

PERUFEST USA is a Mega gastronomic event taking place October 19th, 20th, and 21st of 2012. Jungle Island being one of the most important tourist attractions of South Florida has partnered with PERUFEST USA. In addition to a Mega gastronomic event, PERUFEST USA will celebrate our Hispanic Heritage Month and Jungle Island’s 75th year anniversary. We are convinced that our success will spark the initiation of many more gastronomic events but with a new vision; to gain international recognition. In this way becoming true ambassadors of our Peruvian culture of more than 500 years of fusion with the World.

PERUFEST USA will be the ideal platform for more than 60 exhibitors to establish business relationships, exchange ideas, gain knowledge on updated gastronomic techniques, new organic products, and “Novo Andinos” that are sprouting all over Peru with a high international demand. PERUFEST USA will consolidate itself as a gastronomic event in which for the first time it will showcase our fusion as a result of mixing flavors, aromas, and diverse techniques. In this way giving the causality of why Peru has one of the best cuisines in the World.

This event will unite the best chefs from our beloved Peru and other countries. They will have the opportunity to learn culinary updates, seminars, and demonstration shows. PERUFEST USA expects more than 20,000 visitors from South Florida and around the world. Our objective is to promote the cuisine, culture, and products from various regions of Peru. Also there will be pavilions promoting tourism, artisan craftwork, and jewelry. There will be traditional clothing, music, dance, pictures, paintings that will be representative of Peru and its many regions.

PERUFEST USA opens the doors of Peru to the World with one objective, which is to convert the Peruvian cuisine into one highly recognized amongst the World. The diffusion of this event will be at an international level spreading media through television, radio, newspapers, magazines, internet, social networks, emails, flyers, posters, and other diverse communication methods.
